Provide facility operations coordination advisory and assistance services to the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) “Rocket Lab” as liaison between the Edwards Air Force Base Civil Engineering (CE) organization and the Rocket Lab for facility repair and modification related planning and execution actions.  This includes, but is not limited to, initiating and tracking work order requests and repair projects for AFRL facilities, verifying funding availability for all facility repair actions through coordination with project managers/branch chiefs and the AFRL finance office, and tracking and providing financial data to the finance office for all in-progress and completed facilities work.  The Facility Operations Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all CE maintenance and repair schedules and activities with the AFRL Site Operations Planner/Scheduler and Site Operations Control Center Operator on a daily basis, ensuring CE and AFRL are aware of each other’s mission requirements to avert operational conflicts.  Additionally, this individual will assist the Facility Engineer in gathering data for facilities planning activities and actions.  Duties also include tracking in-progress work in the field and accomplishing required documentation and follow-up with other organizations. Acts as the primary point of contact for site Facility Managers assisting in resolution of challenging facility and infrastructure operational issues.   Sierra Lobo, offers customers a full range of professional and technical capabilities, including Test and Evaluation, Systems Engineering, and Advanced Technologies.  We also develop products and processes related to Cryogenic Fluid and Thermal Management Systems, Densified Propellant Management Systems, and Prototype Extreme Pressure and Temperature Systems.  Our customers include the Department of Defense (DoD), the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).   This position will be located at Edwards Air Force Base, CA.                                                           EOE/Minority/Female/Disabled/Veteran
