The Test Facilities Operation, Maintenance and Engineering (TFOME) team at the NASA Glenn Research Center provides engineering and technical services in the areas of aeropropulsion and space propulsion and power test facilities. TFOME management is dedicated to excellence in service and to providing outstanding technical opportunities for our employees. We specialize in providing unique products and services to NASA Glenn. We are currently seeking a Project Administrator candidate to work 30 hours per week.
Function: Support the TFOME Contract and the Facilities, Test and Center Operations Directorate (Code F) at NASA GRC Lewis Field and the Armstrong Test Facility (Code H) by providing oversite of Maximo and performing other duties as assigned to support the TFOME contract. Prepares Maximo and/or maintenance reports related to employees, testing, and programs. Maximo Administrator for ATF and LF (as needed). Assist TFOME Program Management Office as needed.
1. Support creation of training documents for system users.
2. Assist with training new employees as needed in Maximo if Leads are unable.
3. Periodically review data input by Test Facilities to verify consistency across LF and ATF. Ensure all fields are properly filled in so detailed tracking and reporting can be performed.
4. Support creation of Asset and PM entries per System Engineers and RCM Engineers for the Institutional Group and assist Test Facilities as needed.
5. Generate Preventative Maintenance (PM) work orders as needed at ATF.
6. Conduct PM Maintenance Bi-Weekly review with all ATF Tech Leads.
7. Verify work orders transfer to and from iSite for timekeeping and hours on work orders.
8. Request various types of access in Maximo via NAMS/IdMAX.
9. Request modifications to MAXIMO as needed to meet contract needs.
10. Create and send various monthly reports. (related to Maintenance).
11. Create various queries and reports as requested by TFOME or NASA related to Maintenance, specifically supporting ATF INST responses to FD.
12. Update Work Orders and PM work orders according to Fiscal Year funding (currently) and train replacement to perform these functions (future years).
13. Ensure that new work packages are added to Maximo.
14. Verify timesheet line items have correct FY funding for Holidays and Excused Leave for ATF employees especially any new employees.
15. Act as a liaison between managers, employees, and NASA customers to provide updates and facilitate smooth operations.
16. Supports the TFOME Program Management Office as needed.
1. This position requires an Associate degree in Business Administration or related field and a minimum of 3 years of project administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills may be acquired.
2. The establishment and maintenance of effective working relationships with management, staff, subcontractors, and clients are necessary.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
4. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access are required. Familiarity with Adobe Pro and Microsoft Publisher (or similar program).
