Provides knowledge and information systems management support at the Armstrong Test Facility (ATF) to ensure the availability, security, and integrity of data at ATF.
Responsibilities
Supports knowledge management efforts at ATF including defining knowledge processes and identifying technology requirements for creating, capturing, organizing, accessing, analyzing and using knowledge assets.
Uses MediWiki software, along with PHP, JavaScript, and Python to develop, maintain, and troubleshoot KMS tools and scripts.
Works with users to understand requirements and develop knowledge management tools to meet these requirements.
Performs system maintenance and addresses trouble tickets and tool development/modification requests.
Works alongside other NASA and contractor system developers and programmers to understand analog process workflows and incorporate those workflows in-whole or in-part into the ATF KMS.
Qualifications
Requires, at a minimum, a high school diploma/G.E.D. and training or education in computer science, programming, or a related field, and at least two (2) years relevant work experience working directly with computer and knowledge management information systems.
Must have basic computer programming and/or application coding knowledge and experience.
Familiarity with MediaWiki software, PHP, JavaScript, and Python.
Ability to learn quickly and solve complex problems through logic and reasoning.
Initiative to work effectively with minimal management oversight.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work well with others in a team environment.
