Overview

Sierra Lobo, offers customers a full range of professional and technical capabilities, including Test and Evaluation, Systems Engineering, and Advanced Technologies.  We also develop products and processes related to Cryogenic Fluid and Thermal Management Systems, Densified Propellant Management Systems, and Prototype Extreme Pressure and Temperature Systems.  Our customers include the Department of Defense (DoD), the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists craftsmen with their assigned duties.
  • Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct super
  • Interact professionally with other employees, customers, and supplier
  • Comply with all applicable safety and health related rules, regulations, and procedure
  • Assist supervisors and managers in identifying and mitigating potentially hazardous conditio
  • Interact professionally with other employees, customers, and supplier
  • May perform any unskilled labor duties such as (but not limited to): erect scaffold, wire brush items for painting, secure various platforms, wash down buildings or equipment, relocate equipment and/or platform equipment, load sandblasting machine, general cleanup, crush oil filters, empty oil bucks, change flat tires and performs site wide fuel service as required.
  • Ensure work areas are clean before and after the jobs are complete.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

REQUISITE SKILLS:

 

  • Experience with government facilities programs desirable but not necessary.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills. 
  • A working knowledge of the English language is required. 
  • The candidate shall be able to operate in a team environment, and shall have good interpersonal, reporting and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Following Safety Regulations adhering to safety standards and regulations, including OSHA and other local codes. 
  • Communicating with Clients/Customers explaining potential issues to customers, outlining repair solutions, and recommending preventative measures. 
  • Good organizational, communication, and planning skil
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and take dire
  • Ability to work with computer
  • Ability to work independently but follow specific detailed
  • Ability to interface with various levels of personnel in a multi-cultural, team oriented environme

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Lift minimum of 30 pound load up from the ground frequently.
  • Walk, bend, and stoop six hours per day.
  • Work overhead with minimum 20 pound load.
  • Push and pull frequently throughout the day.
  • Walk up/down stairs frequently.
  • Stand seven hours per day.
  • Climb ladders and scaffolding.
  • Wear PPE gear six hours continuously (steel toe shoes, safety glasses, hard hat, gloves).
  • Tolerate extreme cold/heat for three hours continuously.
  • Must be a U. Citizen in order to obtain required NASA badge.
  • Must have, and maintain, a valid driver’s

Must be able to maintain SSC certifications.
