The Alternate Program Manager (APM) will assist in the overall management of Sierra Lobo’s (SLI) Rocket Technology Engineering Services II (RTES II) contract at the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL RQ-West) at Edwards AFB, California. The APM provides technical and administrative support to the RTES II contract. The APM will serve as the secondary point of contact to RTES II Customers, Contracting Officers (CO), Contracting Officer’s Representatives (COR), and AFRL RQ-West Site Leadership in executing the RTES II contract requirements.
The RTES II contract is structured to provide Advise and Assist Services (A&AS) and engineering support services at AFRL RQ-West. The APM must work effectively in partnership with AFRL RQ-West. This partnership will be based on open communication, development of an atmosphere of trust, and an agreement to work cooperatively for the good of the contract.
The APM will report directly to the RTES II Program Manager.
Sierra Lobo, offers customers a full range of professional and technical capabilities, including Test and Evaluation, Systems Engineering, and Advanced Technologies. We also develop products and processes related to Cryogenic Fluid and Thermal Management Systems, Densified Propellant Management Systems, and Prototype Extreme Pressure and Temperature Systems. Our customers include the Department of Defense (DoD), the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
This position will be located at Edwards AFB, CA.
