The Test Facilities Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering (TFOME) contract at the NASA GRC Neil A. Armstrong Test Facility is searching for an Electrical Test Engineer to perform a scope of work involving study, design, implementation, and/or project management of a wide variety of electrical, instrumentation, control, and data systems for facilities, test related apparatus, and specialty hardware and software.
This position will design and develop electronic integrated circuits, controls, data and instrumentation hardware, subsystems, and systems for specialty processes, aerospace hardware, and test rigs; integrate pressure, temperature, cryogenic temperature sensors, flow, stress-strain, proximity and level measurement devices into process systems and test hardware.

This position requires a BS degree or higher in an Electrical engineering discipline, 5 or more years of related experience, knowledge of MS Office products, and specialized knowledge and experience of one or more aspects related to Electrical, Electronic, Data Systems or Computer Engineering.
The understanding of cryogenics, power distribution systems to 480 VAC, basic semiconductor device theory, steady state and transient data acquisition systems is highly desirable, as well as, direct knowledge of C++, FORTRAN, Visual Basic, AUTOCAD, MATHCAD, SPICE, National Electric Code (NEC) and ISA Standards.
