Sierra Lobo, offers customers a full range of professional and technical capabilities, including Test and Evaluation, Systems Engineering, and Advanced Technologies.  We also develop products and processes related to Cryogenic Fluid and Thermal Management Systems, Densified Propellant Management Systems, and Prototype Extreme Pressure and Temperature Systems.  Our customers include the Department of Defense (DoD), the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).


This position will support the TOSC contract, located at Kennedy Space Center.





Responsibilities include:

  1. Conceptual thinking
  2. Designing and developing plans, processes, and procedures
  3. Functional and data requirements analysis
  4. Complex system analysis
  5. Documentation preparation for complex systems
  6. May be required to supervise less experienced engineers
  7. This position serves as the company's recognized professional authority in the application of advanced theories, concepts, principles and processes for assigned areas of responsibility. 

Specific Skills Needed:

  1. Provide practical application of engineering skills to perform flight and ground system electrical engineering projects that that meet stakeholder expectations, system functional requirements and NASA program requirements with electrical Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and Ground Support Systems (GSS), AC/DC power distribution, command, control and monitoring, instrumentation, lightning protection, and grounding systems
  2. Knowledge of NASA-KSC design development processes and requirements is desirable
  3. Experience with Windchill, Documentum, CM systems, and AutoCAD Electrical is required
  4. ProE/Creo 3D modeling experience is desirable.



  1. Must be U.S. citizen
  2. Must have Master's Degree in closely related field
  3. Must have at least 14 years of related experience
  4. Prefer previous experience with NX, CATIA, 3D, 2D technical drawings of circuit breakers, junction boxes, connector brackets, etc.
